UG Group (formerly 2WR+ Partners) partnered with Lewis Properties to enhance The Golden Hotel, a well-known destination near Clear Creek in Golden, Colorado. The project focused on a strategic hotel addition, expanding both guest accommodations and amenities while maintaining the property’s signature charm.
The renovation centered on upgrading the existing first floor and constructing new guestrooms above the parking garage. This expansion significantly improved the hotel’s capacity and guest experience, adding 50 new guestrooms, ballrooms, a warming kitchen, a fitness center, a cyber café, an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, and additional storage space. These upgrades provided an elevated experience for guests while increasing the hotel’s long-term value. Additionally, the new event spaces and wellness facilities cater to a broader audience, making the hotel more competitive in the hospitality market.
