Vision and Value
UG Group (formerly 2WR+Partners) led the architecture and interior design for Northside High School. The 178,000-square-foot campus features a centrally located library, serving as the academic heart of the school. Completed in November 2024, the $11.5 million project was shaped by a shared goal: to create a space that supports learning, growth, and connection. The library offers quiet zones, group areas, and resources tailored to high school students.
Flexible Spaces
UG Group designed flexible, student-focused environments throughout the school. Classrooms support a variety of teaching styles, while the library includes reading areas, collaboration tables, and tech-ready zones. Natural light, open layouts, and wide hallways create a bright, easy-to-navigate space. Features like adjustable furniture and sound control help students focus and feel comfortable.
Teamwork
Collaboration was key from start to finish. UG Group worked closely with the general contractor, school leaders, and stakeholders through regular meetings and clear communication. This partnership ensured the library and school as a whole met both everyday needs and long-term goals.
Built to Last
The school was designed for durability and ease of use. UG Group selected strong, low-maintenance materials and laid out classrooms, hallways, and the library to support safety and smooth daily operations. This thoughtful planning ensures the school remains functional and adaptable for years to come.
Community Impact
Today, Northside High School is more than just a place to learn—it’s a cornerstone of the community. The finished project reflects UG Group’s dedication to creating spaces that inspire learning, support connection, and provide lasting value.
